It is a great honour to assume the role of President and CEO of EBC. This milestone marks the beginning of an important new chapter in the company’s history—one we embrace with humility, a strong sense of responsibility, and deep respect for the Houle family’s legacy.

    President and Chief Executive Officer

    With 35 years of experience in the construction industry, Ghyslain Deschamps has led major projects in Canada and internationally, while mobilizing multidisciplinary teams around ambitious goals. A member of EBC since 2018, he brings an in-depth knowledge of the organization and has contributed directly to operational optimization and the delivery of major, structuring projects. 

    Guided by leadership rooted in engagement, collaboration, and accountability, Ghyslain is set to continue advancing EBC’s development in line with the values that have shaped the company over the years.

    A lawyer and member of the Barreau du Québec, Martin Houle has been managing EBC’s finances and administration since 2011. He heads the accounting, finance, legal affairs, IT, and garage departments.

    Simon Duchesne manages the human resources department in accordance with the company’s strategic plan.

His project management experience, combined with his expertise in new market development will allow him to lead the Building Group’s Canadian expansion with vision and efficiency, while positioning the company as a major industry stakeholder.
