MiQro Innovation Collaborative Centre

EBC has executed the construction of the MiQro Innovation Collaboration Center for the University of Sherbrooke, located in the high-tech industrial park of the city of Bromont. The building, with a total area of 163,784 sq. ft., is divided into two volumes linked by a passage. The first building is intended for administrative offices and the second is dedicated to laboratory research and has 60 class 100,000 to 10 clean rooms. The mission of the MiQro Innovation Center is to ensure world leadership in chip assembly research and electronic microsystems. The mandate also included support for the certification of the clean rooms.

  • More than 60 clean rooms, ISO levels 4 and 5, the size of which exceeds any room of this type in North America.
  • Specialized laboratories and equipment at the cutting edge of technology.
  • Interior fittings and choice of finishes with a low environmental footprint.
  • Efficient heating, air conditioning, ventilation, hood exhaust, electrical distribution and lighting systems.
  • Implementation of the project taking into account the possibility of future expansions, allowing C2MI to evolve with time and needs.
