Redevelopment of Henri IV Highway (73)

The Quebec’s ministry of transportation mandated EBC to carry out the redevelopment of the Henri-IV Highway and Einstein Street interchange in Quebec City, as well as for the redevelopment of the highway between Chauveau Avenue and Michelet Street located in Quebec City and L’Ancienne-Lorette. These works extend over a distance of approximately 6 kilometers.Work includes :

• Widening of the highway and the change of asphalt pavement to a rigid pavement
• Reconfiguration of Highway 73 and Highway 440 interchange
• Demolition of 6 bridges, the construction of 4 bridges, of a gantry crane, of 3 retaining walls and of several temporary braces
• Storm and sanitary sewer works
• Construction of the Moslon catch basin
