Nicolas Laliberté, new Vice-President Health, Safety and Sustainable Development

EBC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Nicolas Laliberté as Vice President Health, Safety and Sustainable Development

This appointment stems from the changes to our Human Resources, Health, Safety, and Environment’s organizational structure.

Since joining EBC in September 2020 as Health, Safety and Environment Director, Nicolas has driven EBC’s health and safety performance to higher standards. Furthermore, Nicolas has implemented various prevention management structures which have better equipped our managers to face its many daily challenges. Dedicated and committed, Nicolas is always available to support teams and make our work environments safer. He’s often quoted as saying “We don’t want anyone to get hurt in our home.” Hence, Nicolas is the perfect manager to further our risk elimination strategies and allow our workers to return home safely.

In addition, to support our vision to develop and support environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors, Nicolas will be responsible for our sustainable development efforts. Building a sustainable and equitable future is a priority at EBC and have proudly added this important responsibility to his vice-presidential role.
