Canlac-Abbott Plant

Construction management for the expansion of a lactulose manufacturing plant in Victoriaville. With this expansion, the plant has seen its surface area increase from 36,430 to 60,608 sq. ft. The work resulted in a 50% increase in the plant's production capacity. Our mandate included the receipt and installation of process equipment purchased by the customer. The project presented many implementation challenges due to the complex electromechanical systems as well as the careful installation of the closed circuit manufacturing process equipment. Project certified by Health Canada and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
